Movie Synopsis / Plot
Ah Boys to Men 3: Frogmen brings Singapore’s favourite recruits back to the days before enlistment in ABTM. Instead of Pulau Tekong, the Ah Boys are posted to the Naval Diving Unit (NDU).
Returning to active duty are familiar characters – Ken Chow (Joshua Tan), the spoilt, rich kid, who tries to 'keng' his way out of NS. Aloysius Jin AKA Wayang King (Maxi Lim), whose over-enthusiasm creates more problems for his cabin mates. Lobang (Wang Weiliang), the street-smart wheeler dealer, out to make a quick buck off his cabin mates. Joining them is new face Hei Long AKA The Black Dragon (Wesley Wong), an aggressive gang leader, who prefers to talk with his fists instead of his mouth.
Together, this ragtag band of misfits must somehow survive 40 weeks of training in hell. Do they have what it takes to become one of Singapore’s most fearsome military units – the frogmen?
Movie Review
You are advisable to watch <AH BOYS TO MEN> or <AH BOYS TO MEN 2> before watching <AH BOYS TO MEN 3: FROGMEN>. It's brand new movie that tell the patrons what will happened if all the characters went for Naval Diving Unit training. At the beginning of the movie, the others in their unit doesn't like Wayang King as he always pretend he is the best in the unit and give the trouble to the others. On the other hand, Hei Long, the gangster leader from Hong Kong joined the training and keep showing he is the eldest among the others. He doesn't like his parents. In the climax of the movie, Wayang King can't stand it with Hei Long anymore and they fight. During the fight, Wayang King wins and he is pretty angry with Hei Long. At last, he disbanded his gangster group after he fighting with the second leader from his group. After that he changed himself and become the better person. Ken Chow who just break up with his girlfriend looked angry and challenge his trainer, Lum. After that he realize because he is immature and try to do everything to apologize to Lum. Lobang's mother keep taking money from his sister to buy the drugs and it forced Lobang to call the police to arrest his mother. At the end of the movie, everyone is graduated and become the elite team of Naval Diving Unit. As a conclusion, during the training, we should helping each other and shouldn't bullying each other.
